While scanning the current issue of Fast Company magazine I was happy to see our client and friend, Dele Olojede, featured as one of the “100 Most Creative People in Business.” Dele is Pultizer Prize winner and a visionary in our industry and we’re honored to have worked with him on his 234 Next project in Nigeria.

Dele, who won his Pulitzer while an editor/writer at Newsday, of Long Island, moved back to his homeland with a mission: to create a news organization that would respect the values of a free, ethical press.  He formed a team of young journalists and proceeded to train them eagerly, forming a sort of journalism school months prior to publishing the first edition of the newspaper, which was named Next.  Already, Dele’s dreams have paid off, as Next has become the most respected newspaper in Nigeria, one guaranteed to research its stories, consult various sources and then come out with the truth. And in only two short years, the website for Next, 234Next.com, has become the most visited news site in the country.

It’s nice to see Dele get the recognition he deserves.

Check out the piece in Fast Company here.
